Welcome to scuba dive or snorkel with us!

Prince is a diving center in downtown Hurghada. We offer you a wide range of scuba diving and snorkelling activities in a fun and relaxed way, without compromising on safety.

Prince Diving Center is owned and run by Ibrahim Oda and Annika Wasstrom, both PADI Scuba Diving Instructors. We have also two excellent divemasters working with us, Hisham and Ahmed. Together we speak Arabic, English, Finnish, German and Swedish. German and French freelance diving instructors are also available on request.

We are a current member of HEPCA, the Hurghada environmental protection and conservation association,  Search and Rescue Hurghada and a supporter of Deco International, the company that operate our local decompression chamber.

The town

Hurghada is a major Red Sea tourist resort within a few hours flight from Europe. It started as a fishing village, but became soon popular among divers and sun seekers. It is no surprise, as Hurghada offers superb diving, sunshine and a fresh sea breeze all year around.

Hurghada has a good range of restaurants and bars, from busy beach front night clubs and the international Hard Rock Cafe to excellent sea food restaurants and traditional Egyptian coffee shops where men in traditional thobes sit and smoke water pipe.

In downtown you will find local life and busy bazaars where you can practice your bargaining skills. Find your souvenirs among colorful clothing, shiny jewellery or exotic smelling spices and oriental perfumes.

Hurghada is also great for exploring the rest of Egypt. Combine your time in the water with a day in the nearby resort of El Gouna. See the beautiful Abu Tigi marina and the enormous yachts moored there. You can also take a bus and visit  the Egyptian port town of Safaga.

From Hurghada you can also easily take a bus to Luxor and Cairo for a day or two in order to explore the fascinating Egyptian history. See the pyramids in Giza or the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. You can go by bus on your own or take a one or two day tour from Hurghada.
