Daily
diving trips in Hurghada
Every day, all year around, we dive the diving sites
outside of Hurghada. We start the day by picking you
up from your hotel and take you to the dive center to
sort out equipment and do the paper work.
Dive sites
From the diving center we continue to the boat and to
one of the 50 diving sites in the Hurghada area.
On a normal day we visit sites from Shaab El Erg in the
north to Abu Ramada in the south. On an extended day, you
can dive sites from the Thistlegorm in the north to Salem
Express in the south, just outside Safaga.
The dive site is chosen by the divemaster or
instructor in the morning. The site chosen depends on
the level of the divers onboard, the planned activities,
the weather and the dive sites already dived by the divers
onboard.
We use smaller boats with no more than 18 persons
onboard and dive in small groups, usually not more than 6 divers
to a dive guide. We want you to feel comfortable and safe
and
with us. We can also arrange a private dive guide for you
against a supplement to your diving package, if you
mention this when you book.
On a normal day the boat leaves 9 in the morning and
returns back to the harbor around 4 in the afternoon,
depending on the dive site visited.
Free lunch
After the first dive lunch is
served. Lunches include a meat or fish dish, rice, pasta
or potatoes and a fresh salad. There is also water, soft
drinks, tea and coffee available
throughout the day.
Lunch and drinks are included in your dive trip, as are transfers inside
Hurghada, two dives with tanks and weights and a certified
dive guide. We have always a first aid box and oxygen
onboard our boats.
Night dives
If there is enough interested, we offer night dives from
the boat. You can also do a night dive from the shore.
Special wreck trips
If you want to dive the famous wrecks of Abu Nuhas, the
Thistlegorm or the Salem Express, we can arrange these
activities for an add-on charge to your dive package.
These wreck excursions depend on calm weather and a minimum
of 6 participants. Please, let us know if you are
interested, so we can try to organize one during
your stay here.
What you need to bring
In order to dive with us, please bring your diving
certificate and log book. If it is more than a year since
you have been diving, you might want to take a check dive
before diving with a group. A check dive is done with the
divemaster from the boat and consists of a few skills
before doing a dive with the divemaster, who is ready to
help you if you need any help.
If you do not have a certificate for scuba diving, you
can choose between Introduction diving or sign up for a
diving
course.
Non divers
Friends or family can follow you on board bubble watching or snorkelling against a fee.
Just remember to book this, as places onboard are limited.
